Michael is a clinical psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Paediatric Neuropsychology from the University of Sydney. He has experience in the assessment of cognitive and learning difficulties in children and adolescents, including challenges in reading, language, attention, and broader academic development. His clinical and research training has been based in a range of paediatric settings, including The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, where he developed experience in neuropsychological assessment across a range of developmental and neurological presentations. He is interested in how cognitive and developmental factors interact to influence learning and everyday functioning, and aims to provide clear, practical feedback to support children, families, and schools.
We are very excited to have his extensive expertise in neuropsychological assessment and research at the clinic and know that he will add immense value to our collective wealth of knowledge in the area child and adolescent assessment.
Michael will be joining us later this month and will be available for assessments at the clinic on Mondays. Michael balances his work private practice with an academic role at Western Sydney University as a Senior Lecturer.
