Kelly joins us as a fully registered psychologist, working towards endorsement as a clinical psychologist. Before retraining as a psychologist, Kelly spent many years working in paediatric and adolescent healthcare, including in her role as a Paediatric Nurse Practitioner. In this role, she supported children, teenagers, and their families through both routine and complex medical and developmental concerns, often walking alongside families during uncertain or stressful periods. This experience deeply shaped her holistic and family-centred approach, as well as her appreciation for how closely physical health and emotional wellbeing are connected. It also strengthened her ability to communicate clearly, compassionately, and in ways that help families feel informed and empowered.
Kelly has a particular interest in neurodevelopmental assessment, including autism and ADHD. Drawing on her earlier diagnostic experience in paediatric healthcare, she values careful and thoughtful assessment processes that help families better understand a young person’s strengths, challenges, and support needs. She enjoys working collaboratively with families and schools to ensure that recommendations are practical, meaningful, and tailored to each child’s unique profile.
